Prepared for Yosubi · Supply pilot, Alabama, Jefferson County first · October 2026

Every contractor in Alabama. We enrol everyone.

The PoC is regional, so the coverage is total: every contractor business in Alabama, with Jefferson County and the metro worked first, across the twelve trades Yosubi serves, in an eight-week window. We drive every record to an enrolment: a yes gets the onboarding link in the same conversation, a non-response is recycled with a new message, and we stop at a no, not before. A guaranteed floor sits underneath in the signed scope, and the enrolment curve is measured week by week. Two supply personas, contracting companies with crews between projects and solo tradespeople doing side work, reached in English and Spanish through the thirty-second onboarding Yosubi already runs. Counts marked measured come from public datasets we pulled directly. Ranges marked estimated are planning assumptions the pilot replaces with data.

01

The objective

Total coverage, a hard floor, and a measured curve.

FULL COVERAGE

Every contractor business in Alabama.

~37,000 statewide, the metro worked first: about 1,380 Jefferson employer businesses with Shelby as overflow, plus the solo layer through the Spanish-language and community sources. Outreach covers everyone, not a sample sized to a target.

ENROL EVERYONE

Enrolment is the goal for every record, not a quota.

Every yes gets the onboarding link in the same conversation. Every non-response is recycled with a new message. We stop at a no, and not before. The signed scope carries the guaranteed floor; the operation aims at the whole list.

MEASURED

Rates per trade, per channel, per persona.

Enrolment, profile completion and cost per enrolled contractor, so the next metro is priced on data and the enrolment curve can sit in a fundraising deck.

02

The universe, measured

Private employer establishments from the 2024 federal employment census, pulled directly. Solo operators sit on top of these counts.

The whole table gets worked and every record is driven to an enrolment. Nothing is sampled. Flooring, drywall and framing are the trades where the floor is hardest. They get extra outreach hours from week four and are worked first through the Spanish-language and community sources. Licensed layers sit on top: 9,211 home-builder licensees and 10,594 general-contractor licensees statewide, filterable to the two counties. Solo operators are not in the employer counts; the census nonemployer data puts them at roughly three times the employer count, and higher still in painting, drywall, flooring and handyman work. Statewide, the same census counts 7,726 employer businesses and roughly 29,000 solos: the pilot works the metro first and extends outward.
03

The reach, by the numbers

Both sides of the marketplace, counted before we start.

SUPPLY SIDE · THE PoC

~37,000 contractor businesses and solos across Alabama.

7,726 employer businesses measured from the same census, plus a solo layer estimated around 29,000 from its nonemployer data. The metro's ~10,600 are worked first, by phone, email, LinkedIn and the community sources. Every record driven to an enrolment.

DEMAND SIDE · THE PoC

1,153 property-management establishments across Alabama.

Measured from the same federal census, with the 317 in the Birmingham metro worked first, two to four contacts in each, plus the investor-owners with up to 40 doors, built and verified during the pilot. Demand follows supply by a few weeks on purpose, so nobody joins an empty marketplace.

AFTER THE PoC

Every state and city unlocks.

Roughly 245,000 contractor emails and 160,000 professional demand contacts across the Southeast alone, measured and estimated in our research, with a seven-figure address book nationally. Released metro by metro on the pilot's measured numbers, supply always leading demand.

04

What we build and run

Three weeks to build, five to run.

Weeks 1-3
Lists.Every contractor business in Alabama, Jefferson County and Shelby first, by trade: map listings in English and Spanish, state licence rosters, business filings, marketplace profiles. Phones validated, emails verified, duplicates removed, a Spanish-language flag per record, trades mapped to Yosubi's categories.
Weeks 1-3
Infrastructure.Sending domains and mailboxes warming, real LinkedIn seats warming, a human-initiated dialer with recording, per-channel and per-caller onboarding links, a shared tracker and a weekly dashboard in Slack.
Weeks 1-3
Messaging.Call guides in English, with email sequences and community posts in English and Spanish for both personas, consistent with Max's social calendar. A ten-entry sample approved by Gabe before any volume.
Weeks 3-8
Outreach. An English-speaking cold caller works the metro list as the primary channel, with email to contracting companies, LinkedIn to owners of the larger firms, and the local contractor communities carrying the statewide layer. Every yes receives the onboarding link immediately and is tracked to a completed profile. Positive replies route to Yosubi the moment they land, and a reply agent can handle first responses end to end. The full list is worked to the end of the window.
Weeks 3-8
The weekly loop.Thirty minutes with Gabe and Ellie each week. Numbers by trade, channel and persona. Outreach hours rebalanced toward the trades enrolling slowest. Non-responders recycled with a new message after three weeks.
Week 8
The scale readout.Measured rates per channel and persona, cost per enrolled contractor, the messages that won, and a one-page enrolment curve for the fundraising deck. The engine keeps running into scale.
05

Two supply personas

Both reached in English and Spanish, through the flow Yosubi already runs.

PersonaWhy they enrol
Contracting companies with crews between projectsCarry the trades in volume and adopt tools more readily. Reached by the caller, email and LinkedIn to the owners.
Solo tradespeople doing side workMany Spanish-speaking, many later starting their own businesses. Reached by the caller in English, and through the community sources and Spanish-language messaging where the record says Spanish-first.

The enrolment flow is the one Yosubi already runs: thirty seconds to onboard, licence at first project. Every yes gets the onboarding link in the same conversation, on the channel the contractor is already holding.

06

What Yosubi provides

Seven things that make the numbers possible.

From our conversation, confirmed at kickoff:

  • The category list and sign-off on the trade mapping.
  • Onboarding links that accept a tracking parameter per channel and per caller, in web, SMS and WhatsApp flows, in English and Spanish.
  • The cold-calling script, and a database of previous works that fits the calling personas, so the caller cites real projects.
  • A one-pager, in English and Spanish, that says what the call says.
  • Context for the reply agent, or a routing channel for notifications, so every positive reply lands with Yosubi the moment it arrives.
  • A Slack channel, a weekly thirty minutes, and same-day answers on the ten-entry sample.
  • Coordination with Max so the social posts and the outreach say the same thing in the same weeks.

Investment

No setup fee. A two-month PoC, then we scale.

ComponentWhat it coversFee
Monthly retainerEmail and LinkedIn outreach: lists across Alabama, Jefferson and Shelby first, validation and verification, domains and mailboxes warming, two-language messaging, sending, weekly readouts, tracker and live reply routing.$3,000 / month
Cold calling, one timeAn English-speaking caller works the metro supply list once through on a recorded dialer, every yes handed the onboarding link in the call.$2,000 one-time
SetupLists, infrastructure and messaging are built inside the retainer in weeks one to three.$0, no setup fee
Option: demand list and sequenceEvery property manager and investor-owner with up to 40 doors in Jefferson County, verified, with a sequence that invites them to price their next repair in Yosubi.Scoped separately
The PoC is two months. Base fees are monthly prepayment, invoiced at the start of each month; work starts when the invoice is paid. After the two months, every state and city unlocks. The same machine opens the next metros on the pilot's measured numbers, supply leading demand in each, with Huntsville and Atlanta first if the curve holds, and the white-label research scoped alongside.

Start the next Monday both calendars allow.

  1. Weeks one to three: build. Lists, infrastructure, messaging, and the ten-entry sample on Gabe's desk.
  2. Week three: outreach begins. The caller first, email and LinkedIn behind, communities alongside.
  3. Week four: the readout sets the pace. Measured rates replace the planning assumptions, and the hours follow the trades enrolling slowest.
